Summary: This is it, folks. One of the laziest serial killers we've ever heard of. One that takes the common cliches of mysterious backstories and ironic names to the extreme. The Bye-Bye Man.

History: The Bye-Bye Man's origins are never explained, but the most we get is that whenever this thing's name is uttered, people go insane, start hallucinating, and get killed. Many have tried hard to expel this being's memory from each other, but it mostly just ends with more people getting killed by each other. Decades later, the Bye-Bye Man's power persists into the modern day.

Notable Kills: Nothing special.

Final Fate: After a while, almost the whole group on the Bye-Bye Man's case is dead or heavily injured. The being's name is uttered once more, and the curse carries on.

Powers/Abilities: Manipulation of reality, illusions.

Weakness: Only through his name and memory can he do things.

Scariness Factor: 3-The idea of an enigmatic spirit tricking people into seeing and doing horrible things so that its legacy may never die is a nefarious and scary thing indeed. The problem is that it has an incredibly silly name, and some of the effects fall flat. Even the skinless hound he may or may not own doesn't look all that great.

Trivia: -As one might guess, the moment this film was announced, people started taking pot shots at the villain's name. Just one prominent example is "The Pee-Pee Poo-Poo Man". Very sophisticated humor, there.

-Might as well get it out there, this whole thing feels like a retelling of the Bloody Mary legend. Say that name three times in a mirror, and the ghost comes to get you.
